We're Going to Wembley

It is the day we are waiting for, isn't it? After Man United beat Barcelona at Old Trafford in the Europa League competition,  the United players and we (fans) certainly can't wait to watch the carabao cup final which will be held this Sunday at Wembley Stadium. At the same time to end the 6-year fast without a trophy for united. If we win the carabao cup title, it will certainly make the team's confidence and fans will also be higher.

Match preview.

Manchester United will certainly not be strengthened by 3 players namely Eriksen, Donny van de beek and Anthony Martial due to injury.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United will be without Nick Pope (red card), Martin Dubravka and Emil Kraft.

Head to head.

In the last 3 meetings in all competitions, United only managed to win 1 time and the other two ended with draw.

Line up prediction.

In my opinion, United will play with their best strength. (you can see in the picture below).

My score prediction is Manchester United 2-0 Newcatle United.

Fun fact:

~ Manchester United have lost only once in their last 18 matches in all competitions (14 W, 3 D, 1 L)

~ Manchester United have scored 41 goals and conceded 13 goals in their last 18 matches in all competitions

~ Manchester United were last in the Carabao Cup final in 2017 when they were still managed by jose mourinho.

~ Manchester United are the only English club still playing in four competitions (EPL, Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Europa League)

~ Ten Hag has won 28 of the 39 matches he has played with man united in his first charge of the season (28 W, 5 D, 6L).

Hopefully Man United can end their trophy drought today...
